The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering seeks to train "inverted T-shape" engineers, which refers to engineers with a broad knowledge base and extensive expertise in specific fields. As such, our curriculum is based on the following principles: (1) providing a multifaceted curriculum designed to foster engineers with a broad perspective and (2) cultivating an independent attitude toward learning in students.
